The Haix BW Combat Boot Heavy – Commander GTX (Model 2018) is the current service model of the Bundeswehr and is gradually replacing the 2007 model. Developed exclusively for the troops, this full-leather boot stands for maximum robustness, insulation, waterproofness and breathability – now also available in various used conditions.
The oiled, hydrophobized nubuck leather (2.6–2.8 mm) offers optimal protection in any weather in combination with the 4-layer GORE-TEX® Performance membrane. The abrasion-resistant lining with fleece layer ensures excellent climate comfort in all seasons. The moisture-absorbing insole, the HAIX® Climate System with micro-dry lining, and AIRFLOW channels provide a balanced foot climate even on long marches.
The non-slip rubber/PU sole with terrain tread is oil- and petrol-resistant, non-marking and cold-insulating. The 2-zone lacing system with Comfort Tongue allows individual adjustment in the foot and shaft area. With shock-absorbing insole, reinforced heel counter, closed lacing and rubber rand at toe and heel, this shoe is ideal for tactical missions, trekking, hunting or mountain tours.
