- Displays NATO and US rank and makes your rank instantly understandable in multinational units
- Hook-and-loop backing fully sewn instead of glued, making it resistant to moisture and heat.
The Rank Patch Petty Officer Bootsmann displays the Navy rank on any uniform with a hook-and-loop area and also shows NATO and US rank—a real advantage for multinational exercises and joint staffs. The rank is embroidered with premium thread onto a durable cotton body fabric and is finished with a merrowed edge for extra durability. The key feature onboard is the fully stitched hook backing: no adhesives, so there's nothing to come loose in moisture or heat. This patch is designed for tropical shirts but fits just as well on rain jackets and smocks.
