The Rank Patch Stabsgefreiter Luftwaffe displays the enlisted rank and also presents it as a NATO and US rank for recognition outside the Bundeswehr. Since the patch is oriented, it is available in versions for the left and right sleeves, allowing both arms to be properly equipped. The base is made from durable cotton fabric, embroidered with high-quality thread, and the overlocked edge maintains its shape over time. The hook-and-loop backing is sewn rather than glued, making it resistant to moisture and heat. This patch can be worn on a tropical shirt, rain jacket, or smock.
