Safety instructions:

• Risk of burns from hot surfaces! Hot surfaces can cause burns on contact. The individual parts become hot during use. Do not touch the cookset while cooking. Do not touch the cookset after cooking until it has completely cooled down.

• Risk of burns from flash flames! Refilling denatured alcohol into the hot burner is life-threatening. Never pour denatured alcohol into the burner while it is still hot. Before refilling, check whether the burner is still hot. Make sure that the flame is extinguished. Use the device only in a wind-protected area.
• Never leave the cookset unattended while in use.
• Children do not recognize the dangers that can arise when handling alcohol and hot food and liquids. Never allow children to use the cookset unsupervised. Keep children away from the cookset when it is in use or heated.
• Allow people with limited mental and physical abilities to operate the cookset only after prior instruction and never alone.
• Do not heat the pot when empty, as this may damage the vessel.
• Addition for CS985HA: Not suitable for preparing foods that are high in salt or acid (such as applesauce, tomato purée, rhubarb or salted herring). Do not cook food in salt water and use only unsalted water. Salt the prepared food only after cooking.
