Hydracell - AquaFlash flashlight black

The practical, handy HydraCell AquaFlash black flashlight is powered by an eco-friendly, water-activated TC1D energy cell. The TC1D energy cell has a runtime of up to 60 hours and is free from toxins and harmful substances. The ingredients are biodegradable.
A bright, long-lasting Cree LED provides intense light output. Thanks to the infinitely adjustable lens, you can choose between a strongly focused beam and a wide light cone, so you’re prepared for any situation. The flashlight features an anodized aluminum housing that combines durability and robustness, and a rubberized push button. The wrist strap completes the AquaFlash and ensures a secure grip.

Information on the water-activated HydraCell energy cells:
The energy cell must be immersed in water for 10–15 seconds. This moistens the salt-impregnated bridge layers and creates a connection between the magnesium core and the oxygen in the air. This initiates an electrochemical reaction that releases electrons. These are collected at the cathode of the carbon membrane and converted into usable energy.
After their initial activation, the energy cells remain under constantly available voltage and only require occasional reactivation for continued use. The first activations can be carried out with any type of water. After that, it is helpful to reactivate the cells with warm to hot water until the end of their service life. This ensures optimal reaction and full available capacity of the energy cells.
In emergencies, HydraCell energy cells can be activated and reactivated in any type of liquid (rain, stream, sea, tap and even dirty water) that is not oil-based.
