Katadyn - Water filter Vario

The Katadyn Vario water filter from the Backcountry series offers various filtration options. Whether clear, cloudy or chemically smelling water – the Vario pump filter purifies it using a cleanable ceramic pre-filter and a microbiological glass fiber filter with low pumping resistance. For turbid water, the “Longer Life” mode can be activated. The “Faster Flow” mode uses the glass fiber filter with direct flow. Pump performance is increased to up to 2 L/min. To reduce chemicals and bad taste, the activated carbon granulate can be replaced regularly. The dual-piston pump mechanism ensures continuous performance with minimal effort. The replacement filter elements are available separately and are easy to replace (ceramic disc, glass fiber filter with activated carbon, activated carbon granulate).
Delivery does not include a bottle. The Vario water filter is suitable for bottles with a neck diameter of 55 mm, such as the Klean Kanteen Wide.
