Whistle for the model Base Camp and Scout. The metal whistle in the green rubber housing fits old and new Kelly Kettle models and signals with a whistling sound when the water is boiling.
The whistle is not to be confused with the orange plug on some older models, this must be removed before use!

Direction for use:
Do not completely fill the kettle. Loosely and carefully place the green pipe on the water spout of the kettle paying attention to the direction of the arrow so that the hot steam escapes downwards. The whistle should not be pushed into the opening, it should be easy to removed. When the water boils, remove the kettle from the fire and let stand for about 1 minute. Hold the handle with one hand. With the other hand remove the whistle by gently pulling. Then as usual pour the water from the kettle.
