The correct handling of the accessories should be practiced

Putting together the right climbing accessories is very important, and not just for serious mountaineers. Climbing gear serves your safety. Secure footing on rock faces and slopes is just as important as protection in case you do fall. The gear must also be matched to the climber’s weight; only then can it provide the necessary protection.

The way it is used depends on the type of equipment. Ropes that serve as protection against slipping must be securely fastened. This should be practiced in advance, especially the knots. Climbing is a sport you start small and gradually refine to precision. The same applies to climbing gear: plenty of practice on the “ground” under the guidance of an experienced climber or even a certified climbing instructor teaches you how to use it correctly and gives you routine and the necessary safety for the sport in an emergency. In climbing courses, for example, you practice “falling into the rope”, which becomes important if you really do slip. This way you don’t panic unnecessarily and have already experienced this “fall” once in a safe environment. That can be worth a great deal.

Climbing accessories must be purchased according to individual needs

In addition to ropes and various hooks, climbers need bags in which further accessories, drinks and similar items can be transported. These are also offered by ASMC. The “bags” are waterproof and can be easily and comfortably attached to clothing. They are available in different sizes and designs.
