All you need is water – and in such a small amount that you’ll have no trouble preparing a hot meal anywhere. Just 60 milliliters are enough for you to enjoy a tasty Forestia meal in no time. Since water is part of everyone’s basic kit, the wet food from Forestia gives you a 100 percent guarantee that you won’t go hungry on the go.

So you can get started right away, we’ve put together a brief summary of how the food packs work. Each meal always comes with a so-called heater bag. Inside it is a small sealed packet containing a mixture of different salts. These salts react with the water you add later and heat up your meal. Of course, this process is completely safe for consumption and only serves to ensure that you can eat your meal anywhere and at any time.

The preparation of Forestia meals is as well thought out as it is simple. All you have to do is take out the food pack and place it in the supplied heater bag. Then fill in about 60 milliliters of water up to the lower mark. That’s it – now you just have to wait.

From this moment on, the water starts reacting with the salts. This chemical reaction inside the heater bag heats your meal. The process takes about 12 minutes. After that, you can carefully remove the food pack from the heater bag.
