ITW – brand manufacturer for carabiners, mounts and more

Illinois Tool Works, or ITW for short, was founded in 1912 in the US state of the same name and still stands today for cutting tools, defense products and military accessories. With the production of highly durable carabiners and mounts for belts and MOLLE systems, the manufacturer is well known in this country for both military and civilian use.

Using ITW fastening items correctly

Magazine holders are considered ITW’s leading accessories and ensure a fast magazine change, whereby the individually desired draw resistance should be adjusted after putting them on. The holder can be fixed at the top or bottom to additionally accommodate your preferred carrying comfort and to allow several holders to be mounted side by side with ease.

Carabiners from the brand are primarily used for attaching and securing gear, with the contoured surface ensuring a secure grip. The carabiners are not suitable for climbing, but despite weighing only a few grams they offer a high load capacity of several kilograms.
