Passion since 1985

The Highlander brand was founded in 1985 in Edinburgh by Bahram Golzari out of a passion for nature and adventure. At the time, he recognised a gap in the market for custom outdoor equipment and set to work himself. It did not take long for Highlander to make a name for itself in the industry beyond the borders of Scotland. Golzari has continuously expanded the business and now exports far beyond Europe. After more than 30 years, Highlander has developed into a highly respected outdoor brand, which is now driven forward by the founder’s two sons in his spirit.
