Before using the stove for the first time, you should read the operating instructions. The way most models work is quite simple. Nevertheless, the operating instructions may contain important information on how to handle the camping stove. Before lighting the stove, it should be placed on a flat and wind-protected surface. This prevents the stove from tipping over and fabrics from catching fire from the flames. In the worst case, this could lead to injuries or fires.
The height of the escaping gas can be controlled via a lever on the side. The burner head of the camping stove can be ignited with a simple lighter. The gas should first be set to a low level. Once the flame is lit, it can then be increased. Depending on the temperature required and the material the cooking pot is made of, the flame must be set higher or lower.
At ASMC you can draw on a diverse range of products. All the stoves work on the same principle. When choosing, you should consider the intended use of the stove. If you already have a cooking pot, you should buy the camping stove to match its size. The pot is placed above the burner head: for this purpose there are three to four prongs at this point. The number of prongs does not affect stability. You can therefore choose the stove entirely according to your personal taste.

Falling air pressure can lead to a drop in performance in gas stoves. To prevent this, there are stoves with an integrated pressure regulator. This keeps performance constant at low fill levels. Stoves with a pressure regulator are also quieter in operation than other models.
The lightest stoves start at around 80 grams. Standard models weigh around 150 to 300 grams. Multi-burner stoves are much heavier and can weigh up to 3,000 g. This should be factored into your considerations for the intended personal use.
Insert the cartridge into the holder from below, then screw the top part on. As you screw it on, a pin pierces the cartridge, which hisses a little at first because gas escapes (best done outdoors). As soon as it hisses and the pin has passed through the aluminum, you should quickly continue turning until it stops, so that the butane/propane cannot escape. Then wash your hands, as the liquid gas that can drip out of the cartridges smells unpleasant.
Both butane and propane are liquefied gases. Propane gas is cheaper than butane and will still burn in winter down to -40 °C. You cannot cook with butane gas in winter, but it has a more efficient energy value than propane. In the outdoor/camping sector, cartridges are filled with a butane/propane (60/40) mixture to balance out the disadvantages.
