PPD - Ammunition box LWAC M2A1 NATO

The LWAC M2A1 NATO ammunition box is a lightweight and efficient solution for the safe storage and transport of ammunition. It is over 68% lighter than conventional steel boxes, which reduces the overall weight. Thanks to improved stackability, it can be stacked stably in a cross or vertical pattern, making optimal use of storage space. Its thermal insulation protects the ammunition by reducing heat transfer.

The crate is compatible with RFID tags, enabling tracking and control. Thanks to its low noise when in contact with steel surfaces, it is ideal for low-noise work, especially during discreet operations. In addition, there is no risk of sparking, and it is fully compatible with conventional steel crates.

The ammo box is environmentally friendly, as it is completely recyclable and reusable. It offers complete protection from water and air, ensuring optimal weather resistance. With a high load capacity of up to 21.5 kg, it is extremely robust.

Classification according to DEF-STAN 81-41 as “CLASS J” guarantees excellent storage conditions, including worldwide storability of at least 2 years with full weather protection (-54 to +71 degrees) as well as 1 year of outdoor storage under NATO conditions. The crate is designed for all transport and handling methods.

With regard to UN ADR hazardous goods classifications, it covers UN-V (5.5 kg, packaging group I, II and III), UN-X (13.5 kg, packaging group I, II and III) and UN-Y (21.5 kg, packaging group II and III). The box is available with the NSN numbers: Green: 8140-22-630-8524, Sand: 8115-22-631-9402.
