The BW Unterhose Mobast kurz Hexonia gebraucht comes from the MOBAST System (Modular Ballistic Protection and Load-Carrying Equipment) of the Bundeswehr and was developed for the high demands of modern operational forces. As the official supplier of ballistic underwear, Hexonia manufactured these functional shorts for wear under protective, operational, and functional clothing.
Originally developed for the Bundeswehr's MOBAST System, these shorts provide not only protection against small fragments resulting from detonations or explosions, but also all the advantages of modern performance underwear. The skin-tight fit, high breathability, and effective moisture management ensure a comfortable wearing experience even in high temperatures and during physical exertion. This makes them ideal as a base layer for outdoor, trekking, bushcraft, hunting, sports, or daily use under work and functional apparel. The robust original Bundeswehr item stands out for its functional design and is engineered for demanding operations.
